Calenzana is a large village situated near to Calvi, it is the departure point for the GR20 north.

The adventure starts with the Mediterranean at close proximity. The old mule track sets off on a gentle climb. You make your way slowly up to Bocca di U ravalente 616m. You cross through Sambuccu forest and will come to a promontory called Arghjova.

The trail has a small portion, about 1h30 of technical terrain, so for the most part, it is easy walking but it is up hill all the way!
