Tighjettu Refuge

Tighjettu 1683m is the fourth refuge you will come across on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana. It is situated just above the river called Ravin de Vallé di Stagni and the trail towards the Monte Cinto.

The refuge is of a modern design and is fairly big, with 48 places inside. However, it’s built on a steep mountain side and there is very limited room for tents. There are a couple of cold shower, toilets and you will find drinking water. You can buy breakfast, a hot evening meal, snacks and drinks. The guardian is particularly jovial of an evening. There are often two settings if you want to participate in the evening meal.

Book a night

Reservations are made online, directly on the PNRC (Regional Natural Park of Corsica) website. You will need to take the booking confirmation with you, to present it to the caretaker when you arrive at the refuge. Consult the schedule then book online according to the availability calendar: book one night. For more information on nights in shelters, contact the PNRC.

Ortu di u Piobbiu Refuge

Castel di Vergio is the seventh accommodation you will come across on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana.

The eighth accommodation along the route, Vaccaghja is a half day walk from Castel di Vergio.

Manganu Refuge

Alt 1600m. This is the ninth park refuge that you will come to on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana.

Petra Piana Refuge

Alt 1842m. This is the tenth park refuge that you will come to on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana.

Onda Refuge

Alt 1422m. This is the eleventh park refuge that you will come to on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana.

This is the twelth step that you will come to on the GR20 north when setting out from Calenzana.

Capanelle

Alt 1586m. This is a private gite and camping area is enthusiastically managed by Roger Philippe and Laure Maurizi they are a brother and sister team.

Col de Verde

Alt 1289m. This is the fourteenth accommodation that you will come to on the GR20 when setting out from Calenzana. It is a private gite, that has road access.

Prati Refuge

Alt 1820m. This is the fifteenth accommodation that you will come to on the GR20 when setting out from Calenzana.

Usciolu Refuge

Alt 1750m. This is the sixteenth accommodation that you will come to on the GR20 when setting out from Calenzana.

Croci

Alt 155Om. This is the seventeenth accommodation along the way when setting out from Calenzana.

Asinau Refuge
